Late Victorian (c.1880) Essex Crystal / Fine Victorian 15ct Gold Horse pin ft. a painted reverse intaglio sporting motif with a jockey in white silks on a bay horse. Interesting provenance, the attached photograph shows the original owner of the pin, the groomsman of King Alfonso VII of Spain’s horse. This horse had great racing success in 1918,and the pin was presented to him by the King in 1918.
